ورغم أن الجميع يأمل في عودة الحياة إلى طبيعتها في أقرب وقت، ورغم أن كل
سيناريوهات التخلص من الوباء لا تدعو إلى الكثير من التفاؤل، إلا أن
الكثير من العلماء والباحثين اكتشفوا فوائد غير متوقعة لوباء كورونا،
وسنحاول رصدها هنا معا.
انخفاض معدل التلوث وانغلاق ثقب الأوزون
التعامل مع التلوث يتسم باستهتار وإهمال كبيرين لدى الكثير من البشر،
فعندما تقول لشخص حافظ على البيئة فكأنك بهذا تسخر منه أو تطلب منه طلبًا
عجيبًا، ولكن التلوث البيئي يقتل سنويًا آلاف الأطفال في مختلف دور
العالم وخصوصًا المكتظة بالسكان.
ففي الصين وحدها أدى الإغلاق وحظر التجول إلى إنقاذ 4 آلاف طفل صغير و73
ألف شخص من كبار السن كانوا يتوفون كل عام من أمراض الجهاز التنفسي
الناجمة عن التلوث البيئي.
أما عن طبقة الأوزون فقد رصدت الكثير من التقارير منذ بداية أبريل
استمرار حالة التعافي لها وتراجع اتساع الثقب إلى حدٍّ كبير وبدء مرحلة
الإغلاق النهائي فوق القطب الجنوبي، وهي الحالة التي يحذر منها العلماء
منذ ثمانينيات القرن العشرين، مؤكدين أن زيادة اتساع الثقب ستؤدي إلى
ارتفاع درجة الحرارة عالميًا وإذابة الجليد وارتفاع منسوب المياه في
المحيطات، مما يهدد كلًّا من الحياة البرية والبحرية والإنسانية عمومًا.
لذا كانت هناك الكثير من الجهود البيئية للسيطرة على الثقب من خلال خفض
معدلات انبعاث ثاني أكسيد الكربون، إلا أن الكثير من الدول خصوصًا العظمى
لم تلتزم بهذه القرارات، ليؤدي كورونا إلى إجبار تلك الدول على تنفيذ
بعضها.
الحفاظ على الحياة البرية والحيوانات النادرة من الانقراض
إذا كان التلوث البيئي وطبقة الأوزون يمكن أن يجدا بعض الاهتمام، فإن
الحفاظ على الحياة البرية وحماية الحيوانات من الانقراض أمرٌ لا يعطيه
الكثيرون أي أهمية له على الإطلاق، فماذا يُضير الإنسان من وجهة نظرهم
إذا انقرض نوع سلاحف أو كائن بحري أو نوع من الزواحف لم يعد منه هناك سوى
أعداد قليلة.
البشر يعتقدون أن عالمهم لم ولن يتأثر بانقراض أي نوع أو فصيلة حيوانية ،
وتكثر التجارة غير المشروعة بجلود وفراء الحيوانات، ولكن الحقيقة التي
يغفلها الكثيرون أن الإنسان والحيوان والنبات يشكلون معًا نظامًا بيئيًا
واحدًا يؤثر بقاء كل منهم على الآخر، وأن انقراض نوع يؤدي إلى خلل في
سلسلة التوازن الطبيعي ومن ثم يهدد في النهاية بقاء الإنسان.
ومنذ انتشار كورونا وفرض الحظر الصحي أفادت الكثير من التقارير بوجود
تأثيرات إيجابية على أنواع من الحيوانات كانت مهددة بالانقراض، ففي كل من
الهند والبرازيل تم رصد زيادة كبيرة في أعداد أنواع نادرة من السلاحف
والتي استطاعت التكاثر بحرية بعد إغلاق الشواطئ.
ومن ناحية أخرى توقفت الكثير من الرياضات التي كانت تتضمن تعذيب
الحيوانات مثل مصارعة الثيران وعروض السيرك، وتوقف إزعاج الدلافين
والكائنات البحرية في مستوطناتها الطبيعية.
زيادة قوة الروابط الأسرية
مع انتشار كورونا تراجعت اللقاءات الاجتماعية في العمل والأسواق والأفراح
أو المآتم، ولكن من ناحية أخرى وعلى مستوى الأسرة نفسها والتي هي النواة
الحقيقية للمجتمع وواحدة من أهم عناصره، ازدادت الروابط الأسرية بشكل
أفضل.
صحيح أن الأطفال يشعرون بالملل الشديد من البقاء في المنزل، ولكن هذا من
ناحية أخرى دفع الأبوين لابتكار أنشطة للتسلية والترفيه لمحاولة التعويض
عن عدم الخروج، وهذا زاد من التواصل مع الأطفال، وهو الأمر الذي يعتبر ذو
أهمية كبرى في نفسية الطفل.
طبعًا ذلك بشرط أن يتم التعامل مع الأزمة بهدوء من قبل الأبوين وعدم
إفراغ عصبية زائدة في وجه الصغار، وانتهاز الفرصة للمزيد من إجراء حوارات
بناءة والإجابة على أسئلة الأطفال وإرواء فضولهم بشأن العالم والحياة،
واللعب معهم لفترة أطول.
زيادة أهمية العمل عن بُعد
بعد التوسع في الحظر الصحي ومنع الاختلاط بين زملاء العمل في مكان واحد،
ارتفعت أهمية العمل عن بعد في الكثير من المجالات، فصحيح أن هذه الطريقة
في العمل منتشرة منذ بضع سنوات، ولكن الأمر يتم على نطاق ضيق إلى حد
كبير، فالأصل في التوظيف حتى الآن أن يتم من المكتب حتى إذا كان يمكن
تنفيذه من المنزل، وذلك فقط بهدف مراقبة الأداء.
ولكن مع تلك الأزمة وصعوبة التوقف التام لدى الكثير من المؤسسات، بدأ
التوسع في مسألة العمل من المنزل مما يوفر الكثير من أموال المواصلات
والبنزين والوقت الضائع أيضًا في التنقل من وإلى العمل.
صحيح أنه ليست كل مجالات العمل تسمح بهذا، ولكن مع التوقعات التي تؤكد
عدم التخلص قريبًا من فيروس كورونا وأن الأمر يمكن أن يمتد من عام إلى
عامين قبل اكتشاف اللقاح، فإن البديل الأساسي للشركات الآن هو العمل عن
بعد واستخدام طرق أخرى لمراقبة إنتاج الموظفين والتزامهم بعملهم.
وفي النهاية فإن تلك التأثيرات الإيجابية لانتشار وباء كورونا لا يعني
بأي حال من الأحوال اتخاذ نشر الأمراض كإجراء لحماية البيئة والتغلب على
المشاكل الاجتماعية، ولكنها مجرد دعوة للنظر إلى إيجابيات اي شيء يحدث في
الحياة، فكل موقف وكل أزمة لا تكون كلها شرًا أو خيرًا بل مزيجًا بين
الاثنين.
